On Sunday, March 3rd, 5-8pm EST at Manuel’s Tavern (Atlanta, GA), non-management campaign workers (those without the ability to hire or fire workers in their most recent campaign jobs) are eligible to vote on whether to create a virtual hiring hall in Georgia and to authorize forming a local advisory committee that will work with CWG’s national Executive Council to implement and run the hiring hall. To RSVP for the event, please follow these 2 steps: Fill out the embedded form below, certifying that you are a campaign worker who lives in Georgia. Sign a union authorization card at pledgeup.com/join/XVZY. We will ask for your bank account information to complete this process, but you will not pay any dues until after our formation meeting, and after you confirm that you want to participate in the hiring hall. Workers who have hire/fire authority over other campaign workers may attend but cannot vote at the meeting.
