CWG Fair Campaign Pledge
As a candidate for elected office, I pledge to observe the following:
1. Labor Rights - If my workers choose to unionize, I will voluntarily recognizetheir staff union. In case of dispute over whether a majority of staff have chosen union representation, I will agree to a prompt and fair card check procedure.
2. Fair Wages - I will hire all my staff (inclusive of interns and fellows) as W-2 employees and pay them fair wages of at least $15 an hour at least twice per month.
3. Freedom from Sexual Harassment & Discrimination - I will take seriously any allegations against myself, donors, coworkers, volunteers, and others. I will bring in neutral, third-party investigators to handle any such allegations and ensure worker safety during and following any investigation.
